The 96th Academy Awards ceremony was held today at the Dolby theater in Los Angeles, USA. Oppenheimer directed by christopher nolan is one of the most anticipated films at the awards ceremony. The film was nominated in a total of 13 categories. So far in oscar history, titanic has won 11 awards, which is considered a record.

Oppenheimer was expected to break that record, having been nominated in 13 categories. But despite not breaking that record, the film has received awards in 7 categories. Oppenheimer is the most awarded film of the nominated films this year. The next film Poor Things went on to win four Oscars.
