The teaser also features a glimpse of Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, and mohanlal, who also seem to play key roles in the high-budget film. mohan babu and brahmanandam are also part of the film in which vishnu Manchi plays the titular role.


Directed by mukesh Kumar Singh, 'Kannappais about the legendary tale of Bhakta Kannappa, a revered devotee of Lord Shiva. The story is about the sacrifice the titular hero makes for Lord Shiva. 


‘Kannappa’ draws from Hindu mythology, has stunning visuals, epic narrative steeped in devotion and scriptures.

The film was shot across new zealand and has brought together actors from various industries from India.


The film's production team also features hollywood cinematographer sheldon Chau, action director Kecha Khamphakdee, choreographer Prahu Deva, and Brinda.
