Bollywood actress Amisha patel made her debut with hrithik roshan in the film Kaho Naa Pyar Hai. This film did a great business at the box office. Amisha made a different identity in the industry since her first film. Amisha's film Gadar Ek prem Katha was a super duper hit. The second part of this film has also been released. Both the films of Amisha did a great business at the box office but Amisha got very little fees for this. Which Amisha still regrets.
Amisha told that even after working hard in both the films, she did not get as much fees as she should have got. Both the films did business of crores.
Got very little money
Amisha talked about her films and the fees she gets in a conversation with Filmy Mantra. Ameesha said- 'I got very less money for both Kaho Naa Pyar Hai and Gadar because I was not a star at that time. I signed both the films when I was not very famous. At that time I was making my identity. But I have no complaint about this.'
Got only 2 lakhs
Ameesha further said- 'I do not want to embarrass the producers by revealing my fees. When it was speculated that she might have got a kick, Ameesha accepted that she got 2 lakhs as fees for Kaho Naa Pyar Hai. She said that she got 2 lakhs which did not even cover the cost of my makeup.'
Ameesha said- 'I am not taking the side of my producers but I was completely new then. The audience had not even accepted me. Neither did they know whether they would like me in the future or not. They were taking a big risk by giving such a big amount to new people. We are lucky that we got such projects.'
