Fans are eagerly waiting for tripti dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi's film 'Dhadak 2'. The film was earlier scheduled to release in 2024. But now 'Dhadak 2' is going to hit the screens this year. Earlier, the censor board has cut it, due to which the makers will now have to make many changes in the film. According to a report in The Hindu, the romantic-drama film 'Dhadak 2' has received a U/A 16+ certificate from the CBFC. However, the censor board has made 16 cuts in the film. In such a situation, some special scenes and words will be removed or changed from the film. With this, the total runtime of 'Dhadak 2' has become about 2 hours and 26 minutes.
These changes have been made in 'Dhadak 2'
There is a dialogue in 'Dhadak 2' - dharma ka kaam hai' which has been replaced by the censor board with Punya ka kaam hai.
The dialogue - '3,000 years of past dues will not be cleared in just 70 years' has been replaced with 'Centuries old discrimination will not be cleared in just 70 years'.
The censor board has reportedly muted some caste abuses. These words will be replaced with the word 'junglee'.
The dialogue of the film 'Sawaron ke sadak... humein jaal dete the' has also been replaced with another line.
The CBFC has censored a chapter of the poem 'Thakur ka kuan' and a couplet of Saint Tulsidas has been replaced in a song.
There is a scene in the film in which a man urinates on Siddhant Chaturvedi's character. The censor board has shortened it by five seconds. In a scene where the lead actor's onscreen father is insulted, the censor board has removed that too from the film. The 20-second disclaimer has been extended to 1 minute and 51 seconds. Instructions have also been given to read this disclaimer aloud during the screening of the film.
