Rahul gandhi is not eligible to serve in the Lok Sabha...P1

After receiving a 2-year sentence from the surat court, rahul Gandhi's position in the house of Representatives was revoked. His chair is now empty.

Rahul's disqualification from being a member of the lok sabha is a significant defeat for the congress party and the opposition. rahul can no longer represent his party in the house because he is no longer a member of parliament. rahul has been the face of the party throughout agitations, the Bharat Jodo Yatra, and taking on the Centre, so his disqualification also leaves his party without a leader and a rudder.

The parliamentary membership of former congress President rahul gandhi has been canceled by the lok sabha secretariat on Friday. This decision has been taken because rahul gandhi was sentenced to 2 years in a defamation case by Surat's sessions court. With the cancellation of Rahul's membership, the wayanad lok sabha seat in kerala has become vacant, from where rahul gandhi was currently the congress MP. Now by-elections will be held on this lok sabha seat.

Although the election commission of india has not yet released an official statement regarding this issue, commission sources claim that the by-election procedure has already begun. According to commission insiders, by-elections for the wayanad district could happen in April.
