There are 24 Assembly segments that cover under GHMC. In 2009, party performed very dismal performance among them. TDP has won just Ibrahimpatnam segment. TDP blames that alliance with TRS is the reason for debacle in Hyderabad. Now, party doesn’t want to lose the chance of winning as many assembly segments as it can from Hi-Tech city. CBN has already started his background work in candidate selection. His intention to win more segments this time from GHMC.
Party has identified crucial 4 segments under GHMC and pay attention in selecting the candidates. TDP has planned to field BC candidates from Secunderabad, Malkajgiri, Sanath Nagar and Uppal segments. Talasani who continuously contested from Secunderabad is keen to shift to Sanath Nagar. Reportedly, his strong divisions Padmarao Nagar and Bansilal Pet moved to Sanathnagar Segment. CBN also formally agreed to Talasani. TDP organizing Secretary, PL Srinivas moved to Secunderabad segment. Both are related to BC Community.
Similarly, CBN has planned to give Malkajgiri Assembly Segment to Mudiraj community. As per buzz, Mahesh Mudhiraj will be the TDP candidate from this segment. Uppal also assigned to another BC from Gowda community. T. Veerender Gowd may have chance to select for Uppal segment. Munnu Kapu Community voters are more in GHMC segments. CBN has to put more attention in selection of assembly candidates from BC community in GHMC.
