Voting patterns in hyderabad vary between local assembly representatives and the national parliament. This was evident during the 2019 lok sabha elections, which happened soon after the assembly elections in 2018. It will be fascinating to observe how voters act on this occasion. In 2018, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) won a landslide in most of the city's assembly constituencies. They repeated this success in the 2023 assembly elections, winning almost all of the seats.

Voters, however, delivered varying verdicts in the parliamentary elections. In contrast to 2018, when BRS won six of the seven assembly seats in secunderabad, g kishan reddy (BJP) emerged victorious in the 2019 lok sabha elections from the secunderabad constituency. As a key battlefield, secunderabad has been the scene of intense confrontations between the congress and the bharatiya janata party (BJP) since 1991.

Another important location, Malkajgiri, saw the BRS gain six of the seven seats there in 2018. But Congressman revanth reddy became victorious in the 2019 lok sabha elections. BRS secured all seven assembly seats in 2023. We need to observe what decision the electorate will make in the next lok sabha elections.

In the meanwhile, Chevella becomes yet another electoral hotbed of tension, its importance heightened by the presence of wealthy candidates and the complex dynamics of party loyalty. Because of its proximity to hyderabad, the electorate closely monitors the Chevella constituency. In the 2023 assembly elections in Chevella, BRS won four seats and congress won three. 2019 saw the election of BRS mp G Ranjith Reddy, who is now a Congressman, to the parliament seat.

Because this location is close to hyderabad, it is regularly monitored. Here, a notable number of candidates change parties. Ranjith Reddy, the current mp, has chosen to run for the congress party in the Chevella seat after switching sides this time. After securing four seats in the 2019 lok sabha elections, the telangana branch of the bjp is standing alone. The election is scheduled on May 13 and telangana has 17 lok sabha seats.
