Only Rs.29 per month... a new OTT company launched as a boon for small budget films

Director Seenuramasamy launched a new OTT site called 'OTT Plus' which is a boon for good works made with small budgets. While at least 200 films are released in tamil cinema every year, many small budget films do not get theaters. Even if they are received as they are, the conclusion is written for them in three days with a few scenes. Due to this, many good works go unnoticed by the fans.

A solution to this is OTD platforms. Through these, one's work got a great opportunity to be widely accepted not only in their own language but also in other languages. But now only the biggest films are occupying the leading OTT platforms. Here too, the problem of finding space for good works produced on a small budget has started again.

A new solution to this is the new OTT platform called 'OTT Plus'. At the same time, as per its name, this 'OTT Plus' has been created by combining some more OTT platforms. MR Srinivasan, sudhakar and Kable shankar are the directors.

The launch of 'OTT Plus' and the screening of the first part of the web series 'Feminist' and the short film 'Sentence', which will be aired, was held at prasad Label, Saligramam, chennai last evening. And subsequently the trailers of the works to be included in this 'OTT Plus' were also screened. National award winning director Seenuramasamy attended the event as special guest.

Also in the recent past, directors john Glady (Pairy), Manivarman (A Sec), Rao Venkat (Kita), balaji Venugopal (Lucky Man), Kannuswami Rajendran (Local Case), Yashwant Kishore ( Kannagi), Vignesh karthik (Hotspot), Sarath Jyoti and writers Vasanth Balakrishnan, Jayachandra Hasmi (Goos Munusamy veerappan webseries) were the special guests and honored with a memento and book by director Seenuramasamy.

Speaking on the occasion, director Seenuramasamy said, "This OTT Plus platform will be a boon for the budding creators." All the directors who participated expressed their happiness and gratitude for giving them a memento as a way of recognizing and appreciating their work. The first episode of Feminist' web series directed by Cable Shankar, which was screened at this event, received huge appreciation from the audience and journalists.

Kable Shankar, one of the directors of 'OTT Plus' said, “The demand for OTT platforms is increasing day by day. In this way, five OTT sites are currently connected to this 'OTT Plus'. The aim of this 'OTT Plus' is to bring many OTT platforms on one platform in the coming days.

From a minimum of Rs 29 per month to Rs 99, Rs 199 to a maximum of Rs 299 per month, fans can enjoy works on all OTD platforms for less than Rs 1 per day.

It includes all the movies, webseries and short films that have been released and are going to be released not only in South indian languages but also in many other languages. In that way, the film 'Woman' released under the direction of director Keera will be released directly on OTD Plus. Apart from that, an attractive reality show called 'Bikini Cooking' is coming in seven episodes in English,” he said.

Currently, the web series 'Feminist', the short film 'Sentence', the horror film 'Genie' and the 45-minute film 'Madhu' are streaming and receiving good response from the audience.
