The situation in the neighboring districts was no better. Record highs of 46.8 degrees Celsius were reached in Veenavanka in karimnagar, as well as Jaina and Allipur in the jagtial district. The telangana State Development Planning Society forecasted that Sunday's temperatures will remain between 41 and 43 degrees Celsius, with little chance of relief.
