Indian wrestler Bajrang Punia has been suspended indefinitely by the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA). Bajrang did not give dope sample during the national trials held in Sonepat in march, after which action has been taken against him. Bajrang's statement has come after being suspended. He said that I never refused to give the sample. Bajrang says that the kit that was brought to take the sample was expired.

On march 10, NADA had asked Bajrang to give a urine sample, but he did not do so. After this, NADA informed the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) about this. WADA asked NADA to issue a notice to Bajrang and ask for an answer as to why he refused to give the sample. In such a situation, NADA sent a notice to Bajrang on april 23 and asked him to reply by May 7. Bajrang will reply to NADA, then the date of hearing will be decided.
