After a steamy day, rainstorms pounded various areas of the city in the late evening, temporarily offering relief from the heat.
 Tellapur, Kondapur, Miyapur, Nizampet, Lingampally, Madinaguda, Gachibowli, Patacheru, Bachupally, Afzalgunj, Rajendranagar, Nampally, Charminar, Saidabad, Mehdipatnam, Bahadurpura, Afzalgunj, Neredmet, Shaikpet, Toli Chowki, Hitec City, Erragadda, Sanathnagar, Kukatpally, Ameerpet, Bandlaguda, Falaknuma, Attapur, Chandanagar, parts of secunderabad received showers for around half-an-hour.
According to the TS Development and Planning Society, Vikarabad had the most rainfall with 44 mm, followed by sangareddy with 37.3 mm and Jayashankar Bhupalpalli district with 30 mm. The city's two wettest areas were RC Puram (24.8 mm) and Gachibowli (15.8 mm). A weather system spanning from telangana to south tamil Nadu, according to the IMD, was expected to bring further rain for two days. After the rain, the maximum temperature was predicted to rise by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius, with some locations seeing temperatures as high as 45 degrees.

With 6 cm of rainfall, Kataram in the Jayashankar bhupalpally district saw the most rainfall overall. 3 cm of rain fell in a number of locations, including bhupalpally in the Jayashankar bhupalpally district, Kondurg and Chevella in the Rangareddy district, nawabpet in the Vikarabad district, and yet another hamlet with the same name in the mahabubnagar district. In the districts of nizamabad and Naryanpet, among others, one to two centimetres of rain were recorded.
