On Sunday, august 20, the government of telangana and UNESCO signed a letter of Intent to coordinate efforts and take action in order to implement the UNESCO Recommendation on the Ethics of AI. The partnership is focused on raising awareness of ethical AI development and use, creating capacity, and making contributions to the Global Observatory on AI Ethics run by UNESCO. The collaboration represents a common dedication to an AI-powered future that places a high priority on public welfare and equitable growth.

The Information technology, Electronics and Communications (ITE&C) Department of the government of telangana and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) are working together in a significant way to change the way that artificial intelligence (AI) is developed and used ethically.

At the ceremony to commemorate the signing of the letter of Intent, Vakati Karuna, secretary of the telangana government's education department, Dr. Mariagrazia Squicciarini, director a.i. and head of the executive office of Social and Human Sciences at UNESCO, and rama devi Lanka, director of emerging technologies, took part.

The significance of the partnership is increased by the ITE&C department's influence on Telangana's technology environment and its commitment to advancing ethical standards. The government of telangana and UNESCO are beginning a revolutionary relationship that aims to harness the power of AI technology for societal benefit.
