On Friday, the bjp issued a warning to the telangana police, telling them not to "act like agents and BRS members wearing pink shirts," and that anyone caught doing so would face "action and punishment." Speaking at a news conference, bjp state general secretary G Premender reddy said that police officers were working with BRS "goondas to attack common people and bjp workers and leaders" and urged that the practise stop right now.

The police were targeting bjp members who were participating in peaceful protests rather than taking action against BRS and AIMIM offenders who are responsible for assaults against women. He stated, "We condemn such conduct by the police. bjp state general secretary G Premender reddy, addressing a press conference, said police officials were joining hands with BRS goondas to attack common people and bjp workers and leaders and demanded an immediate stop to the trend.

Senior bjp figures, including Dr. K. Laxman, A.P. Jithender reddy, and P. muralidhar rao, according to Premender reddy, were detained during demonstrations at district collectorates calling for the government to fulfil its commitment to cancel agricultural loans and give poor people access to 2BHK homes.
