With a view to bringing tamil as the official language of the government, in preparation for the same, the Legal Department of the tamil Nadu government is preparing and printing a legal glossary in tamil through the State Legal Official language Commission and the tamil Division of the Law Department, and translating the State and Union Acts, Ordinances and the rules and notifications made thereunder into Tamil. is doing

It was the late chief minister karunanidhi who raised his voice to make tamil the language of litigation in the madras High Court. At this moment of celebrating his centenary, our government led by karunanidhi has decided to translate the madras high court judgments into tamil through the State Legal Official language Commission to realize his dream of making tamil the legal language and to make the madras high court judgments accessible to all the people.
