Never studied in Vedant Lamba College. Studied at St. Mary's school, pune from 2005 to 2010. But he also dropped out of high school. Vedant Lamba dropped out of school midway and started a YouTube channel called Main Street TV. He later spun off the channel into a shoe-selling start-up called Main Street Marketplace. Since then his company has been on a continuous growth path for many years.

Talking about his business, he said, "I am not the only one in this business. There are many 17-19-year-olds who sell old shoes and earn lakhs of rupees. They start their business with Rs. 20,000 and earn between Rs. 3 lakh to Rs. 10 lakh every month." He says. Lamba, who was not aware of the indian industry while in school, discovered the world for himself at the age of 16 when he started his YouTube channel. In the first year, his company had sales of Rs.7 crore. He expects this monthly sales to reach Rs 100 crore in the next month.

He buys and resells rare shoes and talks about the state of the resale market in India. "Customers love air jordan 1, Nike, Louis Vuitton and air Force 1. In the resale market, a Rs 20,000 shoe is sold for up to Rs 2 lakh," he says. "He says he sold a pair of jordan shoes for Rs 13 lakh and earned a commission of Rs 2 lakh. Someone bought a shoe with a market price of just Rs 1.5 lakh for Rs 7-8 lakh," reports Lamba. Lamba's company has also opened an exclusive store in Delhi. Spread over an area of 1600 square feet in Delhi, this store is Asia's largest shoe resale shop.
