Central Selection Board has released the calendar of constable recruitment examination. Recruitment is to be
done on 21,391 posts of constables in bihar police, bihar Military police and other units of Bihar
Government. The date of written examination has been released for this. Written examination will be held on
1 october, 7 october and 15 october 2023. The examination will be taken in two shifts. The first shift will be
from 10 to 12 noon. The timing of the second shift is from 3 to 5 pm. Candidates will have to reach two hours
earlier in both the shifts.
Admit card for the examination has been released. E-admit card can be downloaded from the selection
councilor's website www.csbc.bih.nic.in. The admit card has been uploaded on the website on 11th
September. Admit cards will not be sent to the candidates by post. All candidates will have to download the
admit card from the website itself. To appear in the examination, one must carry photo identity card like
Aadhar Card, Driving License, Passport, PAN Card or any other photo identity card along with the admit card.
If the photograph on the admit card is not clear then it is mandatory to carry two photographs taken two
months ago to the examination centre.
529 examination centers created in 37 districts for examination
Applications for recruitment to 21,391 posts had to be made between 20 june 2023 and 20 July 2023. About
18 lakh applications have been made. 529 examination centers have been set up in 37 districts for the written
examination. The Selection Board has directed all DMs to install jammers at all 529 centers and ensure
photography along with biometric attendance of the candidates.
