Prime minister Narendra Modi participated in the special session of parliament on Monday. During this, he
addressed the lok sabha and informed about the achievements of his government. PM Modi not only

Prime minister Jawahar Lal Nehru till the governments of indira gandhi and narasimha Rao.

Prime minister Modi also mentioned former PM lal bahadur shastri in his speech. He said that Shastri ji had
encouraged the soldiers from this very house during the 1965 pakistan war. From here itself a strong
foundation was laid for the Green Revolution. Under the leadership of indira gandhi, this house supported
the movement for the liberation of Bangladesh. It was in this house that the attack on democracy was
witnessed during the Emergency. This house also saw the strong return of democracy.
