minister Gopal Rai has said that our first plan is to control pollution in Delhi. The second thing that is part of our

time. According to reports, stubble burning will reduce in Punjab. It is noteworthy that a week ago, Gopal Rai

had held a meeting with more than 200 representatives of government and private construction agencies and

directed them to follow 14-point guidelines to prevent dust pollution. He had said, Strict action will be taken

against government and private agencies for not following the norms. It is mandatory for all government and

private construction agencies to provide on-site training to construction workers regarding the guidelines.

The Environment minister had further said, The government is preparing for winter action. Plan on 15 focus

points to tackle pollution during winter, including curbing dust pollution. 5,000 square meters of land for the


construction agency It will be mandatory to install anti-smog guns on sites with construction area equal to or

GRAPE has been implemented in Delhi

Let us tell you that the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) prepared to control pollution during winter in

Delhi-NCR has been implemented from last Sunday. The Commission for air Quality Management (CAQM),

the autonomous body responsible for improving air quality in delhi and surrounding areas, made some important

changes in GRAP last year and in July this year. Under the new changes, the ban on old vehicles will be strictly

enforced as soon as the air Quality Index (AQI) crosses 200 and the use of coal and wood in hotels and

restaurants will be completely banned.
