Neighbors rescued Kamaraj who was fighting for his life in a flood of blood and took him to a nearby private hospital. But he died there without treatment. The murder, which took place in broad daylight, created a sensation in the area.
The police registered a case and was investigating the murder. They also examined the CCTV footage installed in the area. According to the preliminary investigation, they are building a library in ennore Bazar area on contract basis. While Kamaraj was engaged in that work, some of the local raiders threatened him by demanding money. But was he beheaded because he refused to pay? Or any other reason? The police are investigating from that point of view. The murdered Kamaraj is survived by his wife Yamini and 2 daughters.
