decision regarding cm will be taken after the meeting of the party’s legislature party.
Bharatiya Janata party state president CP Joshi said on thursday that any decision regarding the Chief Minister
will be taken after the party’s legislature party meeting. Joshi said that the MLAs are in their respective
constituencies and will come to jaipur as soon as the meeting is fixed. He told reporters here that after the
appointment of observers, a meeting of the legislature party will be called, after which the further process will be
completed.
Whereas in Rajasthan, amid continuing doubt regarding the name of the chief minister, former Chief Minister
Vasundhara Raje can meet jp nadda today. All this is happening when around 60 newly elected MLAs met him at
his Civil Lines residence on monday and Tuesday. bharatiya janata party (BJP) sources said that the name of the
Chief minister will be decided by the Parliamentary Board and before that a meeting of the party legislature party
will be called.
However, the party has not yet made any announcement regarding the legislature party meeting. Raje, who was the
Chief minister twice, is the frontrunner for the post of Chief Minister. In the results of assembly elections declared
on Sunday, bjp got the mandate of 115 seats while congress got 69 seats. elections have been held on 199 out of
200 seats in the state. The election on Karanpur seat was postponed due to the death of the congress candidate.
Now elections will be held here on january 5 and the results will be declared on january 8.
