On the occasion of Republic Day, cm Mann in his address informed about the pregnancy of his wife Gurpreet Kaur. He had said, "I want to make a personal announcement in front of you all that happiness is going to come to my house too. In March, my wife Dr. Gurpreet Kaur is 7 months pregnant. But, you will be happy and surprised to know. It must be that to date we have not tried to find out whether a son or a daughter is going to come to their house and there is no need to do so either.

Let us tell you that Gurpreet Kaur is the second wife of cm Bhagwant Mann. Both of them got married on 7 July 2022 in Chandigarh. This marriage was done according to Sikh traditions and anand Karaj. Gurpreet Kaur is originally from Pehowa, Haryana, and is a doctor by profession. Dr. Gurpreet Kaur is 16 years younger than cm Bhagwant Mann. Earlier in the year 2015, bhagwant mann had divorced his first wife Inderjit Kaur. He also has two children from his first marriage. The daughter's name is Seerat Kaur and the son's name is Dilshan. Both have also been seen with their father and cm bhagwant mann on many occasions.
