The nomination process for the second phase continues in Rajasthan…

The nomination process for the second phase in rajasthan is going on from thursday (28 March). So far 10 candidates have submitted 20 nominations. There has not been a single nomination on five lok sabha seats. Voting will be held on 13 lok sabha seats in the second phase on april 26. Chief Electoral Officer praveen Gupta said that till now maximum of two candidates have submitted five nominations from the Barmer lok sabha constituency. In udaipur and Ajmer, one candidate each has filed four nominations.

The nomination process continues for the second phase

So far, two candidates have submitted two nomination papers in Bhilwara. One candidate each has filed nomination papers in Jalore, Chittorgarh, and Kota. Gupta said that on Friday, congress candidate Ramchandra Chaudhary from Ajmer, Neeru ram Kapri of Bahujan Samaj party from Rajsamand, and Motilal Singhania of Bahujan Mukti party from Bhilwara filed their nomination papers. He said that from Barmer lok sabha constituency, bjp candidate Kailash Chaudhary and independent candidate Harpal Singh Rajpurohit, bjp candidate from Jalore Mahendra K. Chaudhary, bjp candidate Manna Lal Rawat from udaipur, Mohammad Wahid Khan of Pehchaan People's party from Chittorgarh, pawan kumar Sharma of Right to Recall party from Bhilwara and tarun Gochar of Right to Recall party from Kota have also filed nominations.

Voting will be held on 13 seats on 26 April

According to the returning officer, in the second phase, voting will be held on april 26 in 13 lok sabha seats Tonk-Sawai Madhopur, Ajmer, Pali, Jodhpur, Barmer, Jalore, udaipur, Baswada, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, Bhilwara, Kota and Jhalawar-Baran. He said that the last date for nomination for the second phase is april 4. Nomination papers will be scrutinized on 5th april and candidates can withdraw their names till 8th April. The counting of votes will be done on june 4.
