Vikram Trade Fair has been organized in the religious city of ujjain from march 1 to april 9. Under which 50 percent discount on registration fee is being given on the purchase of vehicles. Ujjain's Regional Transport Officer Santosh Malviya said that till now the Transport Department has received revenue of Rs 65 crore, while the common people have received a discount of the same amount on the purchase of vehicles.
The transport department set up a temporary office in the fair
Regional Transport Officer Santosh Malviya said that vehicles worth about Rs 700 crore have been traded at the vikram Trade Fair. This fair is still going on. He said that people from many districts of madhya pradesh bought vehicles at this fair and took advantage of the discounts. Regarding the facilities provided at the fair, Regional Transport Officer Santosh Malviya said that the Transport Department has also set up its temporary office in the vehicle fair. Due to this the vehicle owners coming here are getting the benefit of a registration facility in the fair itself.
Transport department rich from vehicle fair
The revenue quota of the government's transport department is being fulfilled rapidly from the vikram Vehicle Fair organized in Ujjain. ujjain RTO Santosh Malviya said that in one year, the transport department receives a revenue of Rs 181 crore from ujjain district. He said that this time due to the vehicle fair, a revenue of Rs 65 crore has been received in just one month. This is the biggest record of receiving so much revenue in such a short time since independence.
