18TH june lok sabha Session: lok sabha session will start on 18th june, these issues will be on the agenda of the government and the opposition

New session of lok sabha will start from 18th June

After the lok sabha elections and results, now the new cabinet (Modi cabinet 3.0) has also been formed. A total of 71 ministers have taken oath along with PM narendra Modi. The first session of the 18th lok sabha can start from 18th June. The session will begin with the swearing-in of new MPs. It is quite likely that from the beginning of the new session of parliament, both the government and the opposition will be seen strongly putting forward their agenda. This time bjp has not got the majority and congress has made it clear that we will strongly raise our voice in the Parliament.

Speaker's election is most discussed

Prime minister narendra Modi has called a cabinet meeting (Modi cabinet 3.0) on Monday. In this, portfolios of ministers can be divided. After this, the cabinet will request the President to call a parliament session according to the rules. MPs will be sworn in on 18-19 june and Speaker's election can be held on 20 June. There is a lot of speculation about who will get the post of Speaker. Sources are claiming that both bihar CM nitish kumar and andhra pradesh CM chandrababu naidu wanted a Speaker from their party.

However, sources are claiming that to satisfy the constituent parties, bjp has respected their wishes in the cabinet and ministry division. bjp will keep the post of Speaker with itself and the post of Deputy Speaker can go to TDP. In the last lok sabha, Om Birla, mp from Kota, got the post of Speaker.

The opposition has many issues to corner the government

The bjp has not got an absolute majority this time, but the government has been formed with the support of the NDA. congress has 99 MPs while if we include the opposition parties of india Alliance, then this figure is 234. bjp is dependent on its constituent parties. The opposition is already raising the issue of inflation, unemployment as well as the huge fall in the stock market on the day of the results. rahul gandhi had also said in the press conference that the congress party will fight with all its might to save the Constitution and now the strength of the opposition is stronger than ever.
