Former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh akhilesh yadav has been making many claims about district-wise appointments in the state police for the past few days. These claims of his were rejected by the state's director General of police prashant Kumar. Now after prashant Kumar, the National President of Samajwadi party has made another big claim which can become the center of political debate in the state.

On social media site X, Akhilesh made a claim about Prayagraj police and shared a graph. Kannauj mp shared the graph on social media site X and wrote - 90% PDA has only 25% representation in Prayagraj Police. This is the 'proportional injustice' being done to PDA.

Prayagraj police responded

The graph posted by the former cm of UP mentions Prayagraj. It tells how many PDA classes (backward, Dalit minority) are there in the total SHO and SO appointments.

According to the SP Chief, a total of 44 postings have been done in Prayagraj. In which 11 are from PDA category, 14 Singh and 19 others are from General Caste. Akhilesh claims that the source of his information is the website of Uttar Pradesh Police. On the other hand, Prayagraj police became active on Akhilesh's allegations and responded immediately. Prayagraj police Commissionerate wrote - The information given in the said post is not correct. For the appointment of police station in-charge in Prayagraj district, qualified employees are selected on the basis of dedication, truthfulness, social harmony and sensitivity towards public complaints. About 40 percent of the police station in-charges posted in the district are from OBC and sc / st category. The appointment of police station in-charge is done through a fair process.
