Senior congress leader jairam ramesh has demanded from prime minister Narendra Modi that the PM himself should preside over the all-party meeting on the pahalgam attack. jairam ramesh wrote, "On the night of april 22 itself, the indian national congress had demanded to convene an all-party meeting in view of the most brutal terrorist attack in pahalgam and the target killing of a large number of tourists."
jairam ramesh further wrote, "Given the extreme seriousness of the matter and the public sentiments of the country, the indian national congress expects that the prime minister himself should preside over the proposed all-party meeting at 6.00 pm. Take all political parties into confidence and form a common resolution."
