AAP mp sanjay singh recently made an emotional statement about indian Muslims in a public meeting, which has given rise to a discussion. He said, "I feel very sad when a Muslim says that in 1947 we decided to stay here." sanjay singh said that india belongs to all indians and no one needs to say that he took a decision to stay here. This was their country, is their country and will remain so.
Sanjay Singh's statement
sanjay singh further said, "Many times when our colleagues say that in 1947 they decided to stay here, I feel very sad to hear that. This was your country, is and will remain so. There is no need to talk about this. Because when I hear this, I feel very sad. I have told many of my Muslim colleagues that why do you say that we took the decision, thought and understood. This is your country, your fathers, grandfathers, ancestors have lived here, were born here. So there is no need to say this."
Response given in a program organized on the protection of Waqf properties
He gave this statement in a public meeting organized regarding the protection of Waqf properties. On this occasion, sanjay singh also expressed his views on the issue of protection of Waqf Board and the lands associated with it. He said that the protection of Waqf is not only the protection of the Muslim community, but is the protection of the religious land of all religions, Jains, Hindus, Sikhs and Christians. An attack on this is an attack on all faiths.
sanjay singh accused the prime minister and said that through the Waqf law, an attempt is being made to hand over Muslim lands to corporate friends. He said that the aam aadmi party has opposed this law in Parliament, in the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) and also on the streets. “We have opposed and will continue to fight,” he said. Through this entire statement, sanjay singh, on the one hand, talked about the self-respect of the Muslim community, while on the other hand he also expressed his commitment to save the Waqf properties.
