In such a situation, after getting the appointment letter for a government job today, according to both of them, some balm has been applied on their wounds and according to deepak Sethi, their wounds will heal only when the riot accused are hanged.
delhi government minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa, who is also the former president of delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, told ABP news that he has been fighting the battle of 1984 riot victims in court and on the streets for years and now it has yielded results. Also, delhi government minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa claimed that all this could have happened even in the 10 years of aam aadmi party government, which his government did in 100 days.
1984 riot victims total 125 families identified
Let us tell you that the delhi government informed on tuesday that a total of 125 families of 1984 riot victims have been identified, out of which 19 were given appointment letters for jobs today. Let us tell you that earlier in november 2024, members of 47 riot-affected families were given job offer letters and in january to 57 families, but due to conditions like age and education, many victim families were deprived, after which in january this year the Lieutenant governor decided to remove these conditions of age and education, after which the number of families getting jobs has increased by 125 more members. According to the appointment certificates received by the members of the 1984 riot-affected families, their jobs will be on Grade 1 pay scale in the delhi government office and there will be a probation period of 2 years.
