According to the police inquiry, Suguna told prasad that munna Kumar in bihar had a gun for sale for Rs 60,000. Suguna received the money from prasad and forwarded it to munna Kumar via D. Srihari. On July 15, Surender met prasad in the village of Bheemgal, nizamabad, and gave him a revolver built in the country that was empty of ammunition. On July 25, prasad and Damai Sagar travelled to muzaffarpur in bihar to purchase munitions, but munna Kumar was unable to do so.

On august 1, prasad drove from nizamabad to the MLA's residence in banjara hills while carrying a gun, an air pistol, and a button knife. He asked the cook Gangadhar if the mla was present. prasad walked to the third floor, unlocked the MLA's bedroom door, and confronted him while brandishing a revolver. When jeevan reddy saw the accused, he yelled and informed his workers. The accused then escaped. He was detained on Sunday, according to the police. Suguna, Surender, Santosh, Sagar, and munna Kumar, the other five defendants, have eluded capture.
