According to Bangalore police, actress sruthi Hariharan's accusation against arjun is unfounded. Through the #MeToo movement, actress sruthi Hariharan accused actor arjun of sexually abusing her while starring in 'Nibunan' in 2018. arjun, the actor, has refuted the allegations. In this context, the karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce has appealed for mediation. arjun, who took part in it, said he was not willing to compromise and filed a Rs 5 crore defamation complaint against actress sruthi Hariharan.

The Bangalore police filed a case against actor arjun under four sections after receiving a complaint from sruthi Hariharan. sruthi Hariharan's case against arjun has been dismissed by Bangalore police. sruthi Hariharan has also been invited to appear in person for further inquiry. According to the police, they have decided to file a report in court stating that arjun is innocent in this issue.

It should be noted that arjun sarja already filed a defamation case against sruthi Hariharan for false accusations and Arjun's daughter aishwarya also lashed out at sruthi for making such baseless allegations against his father. Meanwhile, sruthi Hariharan who lodged the complaint and took a sensational press meet earlier is nowhere to be found after the case has been proved without any evidence.
