Air india has issued a new grooming guideline!!!


For its crew members, air india has published new grooming guidelines. The fashion statements of both the male and female cabin crew members have seen significant alterations. Since Tata Group was acquired, air india has undergone significant changes. This is also being connected to changes in the standards for cabin worker grooming. Following Tata Group's decision, the air india personnel will appear in a new form.

A 40-page circular from air india has been released, covering topics including fashion sense and dress code. From attendance to clothing, the organisation has undergone numerous significant adjustments. Additionally, some unique adjustments have been made for the pilot group.

In the instructions provided for male crew workers, the usage of hair gel has been made mandatory. air india crew members who have less hair will need to shave it off, thus even being bald no longer disqualifies one from joining the cabin crew. He will, however, need to shave his head every day.

What is the special guideline for women?

Additionally, female staff members will not be permitted to tint their hair in various chic hues. If the hair is not already coloured brown, applying fashion colour and henna is prohibited.

Here is the guideline on jewellery for men

Only bands with a wedding band design will be permitted for men. Sikhs are only allowed to wear one bracelet, and it can only be 0.5 cm thick. It can be made of gold or silver, but it shouldn't have any decorations.

Guidelines for women 

For ladies, this is a rather lengthy list. This has a comprehensive handbook that covers attire, jewellery, hair, makeup, and nails. According to the uniform only, eyeshadow, lipstick, nail polish, and hair shade cards to be included.

It is now required to utilise foundation and concealer. It is acceptable to paint the fingers' nails the same colour as the outfit. Match the uniform's colour with the nail polish shades on the shade card.
