Nandamuri balakrishna got into trouble for allegedly making disparaging remarks about a particular caste. He received the ire of that neighbourhood as a result of his remarks. He had to immediately issue a press statement outlining the justification for his remarks. If we go into the details, balayya said some questionable things regarding the deva Brahmin caste in one of the interviews he gave to promote his most recent movie Veera simha Reddy.

He referred to Ravana Brahma as the deva Brahmins' leader and said that Devala maharshi is their guru. These caste members didn't take well to these remarks. They retaliated against balayya for misrepresenting their caste in his remarks. He immediately apologised to the deva Brahmin group in a news release that was issued this morning and is expected to have a solid opening weekend going by the predictions.

He expressed gratitude to the community's deva Brahmin leaders for educating him on the caste's past. He apologised for his remark and explained that he hadn't intended to offend anyone. He hoped the residents would accept his apologies. However, Balayya's Veera simha Reddy, which debuted last Thursday, is doing well at the box office.
