The state government of andhra pradesh will provide 84 lakh rupees in financial aid to a tdp opposition leader's daughter so she can realise her desire of attending college in the United States. The government offers financial aid to anyone who desire to study overseas through the Jagananna Videshi vidya Deevena programme. One of the beneficiaries is Sailaja, the daughter of Bodrothu Srinivasa Rao, a former sarpanch from Sangam village in the vizianagaram district.

She is one of the 213 students chosen to receive financial aid through the programme. Y.S. jagan Mohan Reddy, the chief minister, recently announced the delivery of the program's first instalment of financial aid. The tdp leader claimed that his daughter Sailaja moved to the US for higher education and that in order to make ends meet, he had to take out a sizable loan, whose payback was his major concern. However, Srinivasa Rao's daughter is scheduled to receive financial assistance totaling more than Rs 84 lakh over the next two years under the Jagananna Videshi vidya Devana programme courtesy to chief minister jagan Reddy's ground-breaking educational programmes.

According to officials, a financial assistance package totaling Rs 13,99,154 has been offered as the first instalment and a total of Rs 84 lakh would be provided over the following two years.
