At the undergraduate level, there are now more options than only the BA (History, Sociology, and Geography), BBA Computer Applications, BCom Accounts, Finance, or BSc Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry combinations. The traditional degree programmes have undergone significant revisions in response to globalisation and to match industry standards, providing students with a wide range of professional opportunities.
The telangana State Council of Higher education has introduced new degree courses in the BA, BBA, and BSc streams for the Sector Skill Councils, together with institutions like osmania university and Kakatiya University. To name a few, this academic year has seen the introduction of the BA fashion Design, Performing Arts, BBA Retail Operations, health Care Management, BSc Pharma Sales, fashion Design, and technology programmes.

All Sector Skill Councils of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship curriculum include an apprenticeship, unlike other traditional courses. students will be assigned to certain industries as part of their coursework, where they will get the requisite skills and be paid between Rs. 6,000 and Rs. 10,000 per month to complete an internship.

In the state, 36 Governmental and 30 Private degree Colleges now offer some of these new courses. In the now taking place degree Online services telangana (DOST) 2023 third phase counselling, students may join in these programmes.

Some of the courses offered by the Sector Skill Councils in the DOST 2023 first and second phase of counselling, such as BBA Retailing, BBA e-Commerce Operations, and BBA Logistics, attracted a significant amount of interest, with nearly all seats filled. The DOST third phase counselling has also included modules for tourism and travel management, retail operations, and health care management, according to authorities.


The DOST third phase registration deadline is July 14; you have till July 15 to exercise your online choices; and the provisional seat allocation date is July 20. Between July 21 and 24, candidates who obtain seat allotments must self-report online, and between July 21 and 24, candidates who received seat confirmations during phases I, II, and III of counselling must report to the designated institutions. Beginning on July 24, the first semester of classes will be in session.
