The incident of drunkenness and over speeding of the youth caused three deaths. Even before this accident, youths in cars were making noise on the footpath at Sagar nagar Arch. Three people lost their lives in this accident.  The death of a couple who had nothing to do with this incident on the spot shocked the onlookers. The accident took place near Radisson Blu Hotel on beach Road on monday at 10 pm.

Six youths from visakha City were drinking alcohol in the car and were speeding towards Rushikonda from Sagara Nagar. The car went out of control when it neared Radisson Blu Hotel. It hit the divider and ran into the other road. At that time, the couple's bike, who was going to the city from Rushikonda, hit a tree. In this incident, the couple succumbed to their injuries on the spot. A young man who was sitting in the back seat of the car also died.

Luckily, as the airbags opened, the young man who was driving the car and another young man sitting in front survived. Another young man in the car was seriously injured and was taken to KGH by his friends. The police believe that the car that caused the accident had bottles of beer in it and that the youths in it must have been drinking alcohol. 

A preliminary conclusion has been reached that this fatal accident was caused by reckless driving under the influence of alcohol. The youth who died in the car was identified as belonging to PM Palem. The husband and wife who died in this accident were identified as belonging to Rayagada area. police revealed that one of the passengers in the car is absconding.
