Former telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhara Rao was hospitalized at Yashoda Hospital in Somajiguda after falling in his bathroom last night. He'll have hip replacement surgery. He would most likely be instructed to rest for three months following the procedure. That means his son, K Taraka Ramarao, will almost certainly become the state assembly's Opposition Leader.

KCR did not speak to the media following his electoral setback and instead went straight to his farmhouse. There were rumors that he would never appear in the assembly and would instead run for medak Parliament in the General election, so he resigned his Gajwel seat for Vanteru Pratap Reddy. Due to the need for relaxation following surgery, kcr is unlikely to attend the assembly until after the parliamentary elections.

If he decides to run for Parliament, he is not required to attend the assembly at all. What happens in the 2028 election is a very different story. The former medak district is a BRS stronghold. According to BRS supporters, if kcr decides to run for the medak Lok Sabha seat, he will easily win. watch out this space for more updates in this same regard.
