Revanth reddy met AICC General Secretary (Organisation) K.C. Venugopal upon his arrival in Delhi. According to sources, he proposed portfolio assignments for the ministers. He also outlined preparations for cabinet enlargement to cover the six openings. The cabinet expansion, on the other hand, is likely to take some time.
The telangana cabinet has a maximum of 18 members, including the Chief Minister. revanth reddy and 11 other ministers were sworn in on Thursday. Under the Governor's quota, there are two MLC openings. Palla Rajeshwar reddy, Kasireddy Narayan reddy, Kadiam Srihari, and Padi kaushik Reddy, the four existing BRS MLCs, would present their resignations after being elected as MLAs.
Revanth reddy is said to have discussed the six MLC openings with Venugopal, as well as potential congress contenders for those positions. There is no minister from the minority group in the cabinet, and revanth reddy offers to bring in a minority leader by designating him as MLC. Former minister Mohd ali Shabbir's name is being bandied about, after he handed down his kamareddy seat to revanth reddy to go on BRS president and former chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao.
