Three MLAs voted for the tdp candidate in the mla quota MLC elections held in march of this year. Panchumarthi Anuradha of the tdp was elected as an MLC despite her party's lack of support. Cross-voters for the party include anam ramanarayana reddy (Venkatagiri assembly Constituency), Mekapati chandrasekhar reddy (Udayagiri assembly Constituency), kotamreddy sridhar reddy (Nellore Rural assembly Constituency), and Vundvalli sridevi (Tadikonda assembly Constituency). The ysr congress was forced to expel them from the party. The party sought to minimize the mutiny at the time, claiming that candidates do not matter in the ysr Congress.

"In the 2019 elections, the ysr congress won 151 seats." The candidates were not elected. They just voted for the Fan sign after watching jagan Mohan Reddy. jagan is a contender for all 175 seats.
