All merchants operating inside the hyderabad municipal corporation-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>greater hyderabad municipal corporation (GHMC) borders must renew their licenses for the year 2024, since the existing trade license expired on december 31, 2023, according to the municipal authority.

According to G.O.Rt.No.459, dated june 22, 2017, of MA&UD on the implementation of the Ease of Doing business Norms (EODB), the trade license is automatically renewed upon payment of the renewal price.

Following payment, a Trade Licence Certificate will be given, which will be valid from january to december 2024.

Failure to renew the license on time will result in an extra cost at the following rates:
In addition to the license fee, a telangana Green Fund fee of 10% on trades with a trade license fee up to Rs.5000 rounded to the next fifty and Rs 1000 on trades with a trade license fee above Rs.5000 will be levied on every new or renewed trade license.

According to resolution No.19, dated July 27, 2017, "if a trade is identified to be carried on without a license, a 100% penalty will be imposed on the trader at the time of identification, followed by a fine of 10% per month until the trader obtains a trade license," according to a news release from the GHMC.

As a result, all ghmc traders are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity to obtain a trade licence by making an online payment for obtaining a Provisional Trade Licence Certificate immediately and renewing their licence by 31 january 2024 in any Mee-Seva Centres/ CSC in ghmc Head office & Circle Offices, while those who have not obtained a trade licence yet are encouraged to apply for a new trade licence online or visit any Mee-Seva centres.
