The box-office rivalry between HanuMan and guntur Kaaram is highly discussed. Superstar Mahesh Babu's guntur Kaaram and rising sensation teja Sajja's HanuMan were launched on the same day over the world. According to the recent trends, HanuMan has an advantage in all areas, particularly in North America.

The collections generated by both films on friday are as follows:

HanuMan – Day 1 – $ 502K in 375 locations
Guntur Kaaram – Day 1 – $ 378K in 437 locations
