The telangana facility that AMSL, a provider of defense and infrastructure solutions, announced on tuesday will cost Rs 210 crore to build. According to a release from the firm, telangana Minister for industries, Commerce, and Legislative Affairs Duddilla sridhar Babu Garu laid the foundation stone for the facility, which is known as IPiDS (Integrated Plant for Ingenious Defence Systems).
 

According to the statement, the manufacturing facility would be constructed on about 5 acres of land with a total built-up size of 3,50,000 square feet. It will have an end-to-end production and qualification setup by worldwide standards and need an investment of Rs 210 crore. The business plans to perform MRO on the weapons housed at this facility in addition to manufacturing missiles and their subsystems. Through this facility, the corporation is also closely collaborating to produce unmanned aircraft systems and unmanned ground systems, according to the statement. It is anticipated that the facility will employ about 400 workers.
 

Apollo Micro Systems Ltd (AMSL), a Hyderabad-based company with over 350 employees, provides technology-based solutions for a variety of industries, including infrastructure, transportation, and aerospace. To move on with its plans to manufacture defensive equipment, AMSL established Apollo Defensive industries Private Ltd. as a wholly-owned subsidiary last year.
