The adani group's recent agreements with israel to deliver sophisticated drones have been fiercely attacked by the Human Rights Forum (HRF) of telangana, which is demanding the termination of any relationships with israel owing to the ongoing slaughter of Palestinians in Gaza.

The HRF asked that the indian government immediately suspend any agreements with israel, claiming that the contract had "the clear potential to aid the ongoing genocide of Palestinians in Gaza." adani Defence and Aerospace and Elbit Systems, israel, have partnered to establish Adani-Elbit Advanced Systems india Ltd in Hyderabad, which is dedicated to producing cutting-edge unmanned aerial vehicles.

The Hermes 900 is the most recent iteration of these drones, according to HRF. The only Hermes production site outside of israel is this one. A press release on friday stated that the telangana government and the adani groups had recently exchanged an MoU for an investment of Rs 1000 crore, with the aim of "establishing a comprehensive ecosystem for the research, development, design, manufacturing, and integration of counter-drone and missile systems at the adani Aerospace Park, Hyderabad."

In addition to expressing its support for the Palestinian people and calling for a long-term truce in Gaza, HRF insisted that any agreements with the "Zionist apartheid State of Israel" be canceled. The group claimed that adani Elbit had just given the Israeli military twenty Hermes 900 drones. In the statement, HRF convenors VS krishna S jeevan Kumar stated, "While several countries have withdrawn support to israel in the face of its inhuman carnage of Palestinians, adani continues to profit from it, lining its pocket with blood money."

Additionally, the statement said that israel has used palestine as a "laboratory for war technologies" and that the deaths there are a "genocidal success" that israel is "marketing" to the world. israel Weapon industries (IWI) and adani Enterprises have partnered to manufacture guns through PLR Systems Pvt Ltd. It is referred to as a "shining example of make in India" on the company's website. In january 2023, the vulture investor acquired a portion of Haifa Port, concluding one of the largest agreements between israel and india in history, according to the HRF.

Criticizing the indian government for its lack of opposition to israel, HRF said that Elbit Systems is the biggest arms manufacturer in israel and provides about 81% of Israel's drone production. "These are Hermes 900, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) with a 300 kg payload capacity and a roughly 30-hour endurance marking performance," the statement continued.

The group said that it disagreed with India's purported "fast-tracking" of Israeli recruitment of indian migrant laborers to take the place of Palestinian labor which is illegal. "This not only violates its obligation to provide safe, secure, and well-paying jobs to our own underemployed and unemployed poor, but it also betrays complicity with israel," stated HRF.
