Chandrababu Naidu, the leader of the tdp, has stated that his party would form an alliance with the bjp for the next elections. Jana Sena, led by Pawan Kalyan, has already partnered with TDP. The bjp has now formally joined the group as well. Chandrababu said that tdp will run with JSP and bjp in the forthcoming andhra pradesh general elections during a teleconference with the party's top officials. He promised an announcement on the collaborative alliance shortly.
 
Chandrababu also said that on march 17, prime minister Narendra Modi will be present at a sizable public event. He asked the leaders of his party to decide on an appropriate location for this gathering. He went on to say that as part of their agreement, the bjp and JSP will receive 30 assembly seats and 8 lok sabha seats combined.


Chandrababu stressed that, given Andhra Pradesh's current situation, the federal government's help was imperative. He said that the TDP's alliance with the bjp will enable it to save the state from financial ruin.
