Due to holi, the Rachakonda police have ordered the closure of wine stores, toddy shops, and bars inside restaurants from 6 p.m. on march 24 to 6 a.m. on march 26. The police cautioned that any infraction will be dealt with harshly.
 
The police forbade the flinging of colors on roadways and in public areas during holi under a different order. It is also forbidden to drive two-wheelers or other vehicles in groups, to disturb the peace or cause annoyance to others. tarun Joshi, the commissioner of Rachakonda police, has stated that anyone who disobeys the instructions would face legal action.

Officials were tasked with coming up with plans to keep the uppal major route free of traffic jams while yet allowing ordinary commuters to get about. To improve security, it was suggested that CCTV cameras be installed around the stadium.
