Arshia Joshi, an indian woman of 24 years old, perished in an automobile accident in the US state of Pennsylvania. Trying to provide all "possible assistance to transport her mortal remains to india at the earliest" was the statement made by the indian Consulate in New York.
 
"Our deepest condolences to the family of Ms. Arshia Joshi, a young professional, who lost her life in a tragic car accident in pennsylvania on march 21," the indian Consulate General in New York stated in a post on sunday morning. May she rest in peace for all eternity."

The post also mentioned External Affairs minister S Jaishankar, the Union Ministry of External Affairs, the indian Embassy in Washington, D.C., and the Consular, Passport and Visa (CPV) Division. "Extending all possible assistance to transport her mortal remains to india at the earliest," read the message.
 
According to a report by the PTI news agency, Arshia Joshi had recently graduated from high school.
 
In the meantime, Joshi's mortal remains are being sent to her family in delhi with the support of Team AID, a US-based volunteer organization that assists Americans living abroad in times of need.
