BRS MLC kavitha Kalvakuntla was placed in judicial detention in tihar jail by the Rouse Avenue court in delhi, and she will remain there till april 9. She was taken into custody on suspicion of being involved in the delhi Liquor Policy scandal. kavitha received nine-page remand letters from the cbi special court. 

The court has granted a handful of her demands. It would be OK for kavitha to use her bedding, clothes, shoes, and beds. She is also permitted to get home-cooked meals and literature. Pen and paper as well as medications are permitted for Kavitha. According to reports, kavitha asked the court for permission to bring jewels with her, but it's not apparent exactly what kinds of jewelry she intended. 

Women are generally prohibited from wearing jewelry while incarcerated, except for some traditional items like toe rings and mangalasutras. It is therefore assumed that kavitha could have requested to wear traditional jewels as opposed to everyday items. According to the ED, there are still some persons who need to be questioned because the case is ongoing. Conversely, because Kavitha's kid is taking board exams, her solicitors requested temporary bail. Both parties' statements were heard by the court, and detention was extended until april 9. On april 1st, the court will consider Kavitha's request for an interim bail.
