"The Special Officers assigned should go to the districts right away in order to work with the State Level Departments and district collectors, as well as to keep an eye on the drinking water situation through the end of July 2024." All rural and urban homes shall have a daily adequate supply of drinking water, according to the government Order (G.O.) issued by Chief Secretary A Santhi Kumari.

According to the statement, "The Special Officers are further directed not to apply for leave during this period and to concentrate on the work related to the drinking water situation in the districts."
 
Revanth Reddy ordered authorities to use village-level action plans, designate special officers at the district level, make use of local water resources in May and June, and make sure that water tankers are delivered to customers on time and within 12 hours in order to avert a drinking water crisis.
 
In order to avoid people having problems finding drinking water during the summer, he gave the district collectors instructions to create an action plan ahead of time.
 
The chief minister had declared, "Water tanks will be made available to overcome drinking water shortage in all Municipalities and Municipal Corporations."
 
The chief minister gave authorities orders to boost the quantity of water tankers for supply and to guarantee that tankers reach customers without delay within 12 hours.
