Renowned vijayawada leader Pothina Mahesh quit the Jana Sena Party. Yesterday, he formally turned in his resignation letter. Mahesh said in the letter that he was leaving the party and his roles within it. He expressed gratitude to everyone who helped him along the way. Mahesh anticipated receiving the Jana Sena ticket for the West vijayawada seat. However, sujana Chowdary of the bjp has been handed the ticket for vijayawada West as part of the alliance between the TDP, JSP, and BJP.

Mahesh reportedly planned to quit the Jana Sena along with his fans and followers because he was outraged by this action. Mahesh hasn't yet revealed his future strategy. It will be fascinating to watch if he runs as an independent or joins the YCP.

Mahesh was disappointed when the bjp was given the seat as part of the agreement, even though he had been guaranteed the Jana Sena party ticket from the West constituency. The bjp has nominated former Union minister Y.S. Chowdary for the same position. Under Pawan Kalyan's direction, Pothina Venkata Mahesh voiced concerns about the party's method of developing new leaders, claiming that it is being carried out carelessly and without any preparation. Additionally, he claimed that pawan kalyan has not focused sufficiently on developing a solid party cadre and organisation.
