Parts of telangana saw heatwave conditions on Wednesday, with a high temperature that above 44 degrees Celsius. The warmest spot in nalgonda was Nidamanoor, where the highest temperature recorded was 44.8 degrees Celsius. Ayyagaripalle and Garla in the mahabubabad district, Munagala in Suryapet, Nampalle in nalgonda, and Aswapuram in the bhadradri Kothagudem district were the second-hottest locations, with a high-temperature of 44.7 degrees Celsius, according to the telangana State Development Planning Society. With a predicted 2-3 degrees Celsius increase in maximum temperature over the next four days, the hyderabad Met office has issued a yellow notice for many districts.
 

Heatwave conditions are likely to prevail at isolated pockets in komaram bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Peddapally, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu, bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, nalgonda, Suryapet, and mahabubabad districts on april 18, and in isolated pockets in Adilabad, KomaramBheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Karimnagar, Peddapally, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu, bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Suryapet, and mahabubabad districts on april 19.

For the next five days, the Met office has also predicted isolated areas of telangana to see mild to moderate rain or thundershowers. In hyderabad, however, the weather improved in the evening with a few light showers in certain areas. The oppressive heat was relieved for individuals by windy and cloudy weather.
