For the last two weeks, residents of cities have been battling sporadic power outages. Sometimes the pain would return in a matter of minutes, and other times it would linger for hours. Furthermore, many are being caught off guard by the unpredictability around the time of power outages.
 
Residents of hyderabad are forced to search storage cabinets and attics for battery lights, candles, and inverters due to the poor condition of the city's power supply.


Many people report experiencing power disruptions both before and after the heavy rains on Tuesday, which resulted in widespread power outages around the city. Residents were displeased with TSSPDCL's lack of readiness when the thunderstorm advisory was issued a few days earlier. This is clearly visible on social networking sites such as X.

We've been experiencing power outages for the previous few days. It occurs in the afternoon on occasion. Are they the right times to turn off the power? inquired a user.
 
People from all throughout the city, including Meerpet, Saroornagar, Doodh Bowli, Manikonda, and Sainikpuri, express a similar level of displeasure.
 

Corporate worker divya Swaraj, who works in Gachibowli, remembers her sleep-deprived mornings because of power disruptions. "Aside from the lengthy commute from Meerpet to my employment, I work eight hours a day. This wears me out, and I also can't get the recommended amount of sleep when there is a power outage in the early morning," she complains.
 
The causes of power outages appear to differ from place to place. A control room representative for Padmarao nagar stated that the “area’s PTR is overloaded” and guaranteed that the problem would be fixed in a week.
 

The South Zone representative stated, "We are getting a lot of complaints about power cuts and we are busy handling them now," but they would not provide information on a particular area. There were no disruptions in their respective rings, according to representatives of other control rooms.
